Ingredients:
1
cup butter or margarine, melted
2
cups graham cracker crumbs
2
cups confectioner’s sugar
1
cup peanut butter
1
½ cups chocolate chips
4
tablespoons peanut butter
Directions:
1.
In a medium bowl, mix together the
butter/margarine, graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and 1 cup of peanut butter
until blended. Press evenly into the
bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
2.
In
a metal bowl over simmering water (or you can use the microwave), melt the
chocolate chips with 4 tablespoons peanut butter stirring occasionally until
smooth. Spread over peanut butter
mixture. Refrigerate for at least one
hour.
**If
stored at room temperature the consistency will be very gooey and messy (I like
it that way), If you like firmer peanut butter bars, store them in the
refrigerator.
